Question:

Two male dwarf hamsters?

I had a male hamster in a cage at my house then i tried to put 1 of his sons in with him. At first the son kept fighting now the dad keeps fighting. They are separated now but what can i do? They saw a little bit of each other when the babies were smaller but not much contact before. Please help! I love them both!

  1. Get a spoon.

    Put them together.

    If they fight, seperate them by putting the spoon in between them.

    Keep this up until they get used to each other.

    They'll eventually stop fighting.

    Just make sure you're around during the first several days that they're together.


  2. You will have to put them in separate cages.

    Hamsters, especially dwarf hamsters, are very territorial.

    Even wen they are younger, and may seem to get along, they will eventually get aggressive!

    Keep them seperated and never house two together.

  3. Keep them seperated, its natural that they fight.

  4. ohhh ... i had 2 hamsters in a cage together at one point....snuggles and cuddles, lets just say cuddles wasn't so cuddly....he killed snuggles.
