Two men, went into bar and ordered the same form of drink, scotch on the rocks.

There was a poison in their drink, however, in the morning, only Peter was dead and Paul was alive. Why is this so?

There was poison in the ice...since paul threw his scotch back..there was no time for the poison to melt out of the ice, however since Peter sipped on his...he drank the poison!
