Ok, suppose I have a 10 year B2 Visitor's Visa which is good for another 9 years. Now I want to study in the US and that means applying for an F1 Student Visa. Will I still be able to keep my B2 if I am approved for that F1?

  1. Traditionally you can only have 1 immigration status.

  2. Yes you will have two valid non-immigrant visas.  Approval of the F1 will not invalidate the B2.**
