1. what are the signs of eye infections from contact lens? NOT stuff like pink eye.

2. you know those red vein things in the white area of your eye? I know that it's normal to have them. But I just looked into a mirror and saw that 2 or 3 of those red veins were connecting to my iris. Both of my eyes are like that. I have contacts. Is it normal or am I just being paranoid?

  1. The second question sounds like you are having hypoxia due to extended wear of the contacts. If you are using any other than the disposable you should probably switch to the daily wear, your corneas are not getting the oxygen that they need. If you are wearing daily disposables you are likely wearing them too long and need to give your eyes more of a break.

Along with increasing redness, the infection may cause pain, tissue swelling blurred vision, and an oozing that forms a crust on eyelids and lashes.  An infection may affect the conjunctiva (the tissue that covers the white of the eye and the inside of the eyelids) or the cornea (the clear central "window" of the eye through which we see). Infection of the cornea is more serious than a simple conjunctival infection.
