Two questions about Brazil?

What is the best celualar provider, I am used to movistar, Is it better to buy a Tim, or Claro or stay with movistar

and the second question is , where is the best place to spend christmas in brazil

I'm not sure about the first part of your question , but I would say

I would Paraty for Christmas.

It's only 4 hours from Rio .

Lots of Restaurants , and great trips to go on by boat.

For cellular providers, there are lots to choose from including vivo from the 3 you mentioned. Tim is more expensive than Claro, but Claro is very popular. You just need to look at how you are going to use and check out the plans that suite your needs.

Regarding Christmas, it is Brazilian tradition to spend it with family. New Years is the time to head to the beach and paaaaarty! So, if you have family in Brazil, say "Oi Mae & Pai! Tudo Bem?" otherwise - future family???????

I think WIND is the cheapest service provider in Brazil.  It's also easier to get a signal for!  TIM costs around 3 times as much.
