for the past week or so I have noticed a rash on my sons neck in the front. I think it is caused by him spitting up. How can I get rid of it?

Also in my morning when I change his diaper his p**p is very runny. It is only in the morning. the rest of the day his p**p is normal. Is there any reason I should be concerned?

  1. be sure to clean in your baby's neck rolls (and any other skin rolls for that matter) with a soft cloth and warm water, and keep the area dry. your doctor may suggest using powder as well - be sure it does not contain talc which is not good if breathed in by babies. Lots of baby powders are made with talc.

Always ask your doc before using any kind of topical creams, baby's skin is very sensitive.

    the p**p is normal.

  2. For the rashy neck, you should use a wet baby clothe and wipe the spit up and  powder that neck and keep it dry.

    The p**p is normal.

  3. It could be drool rash-my sons have all had it, from all the dribbling they did! Try to keep the area as dry as possible. If it gets really bad, use a barrier cream on it.

And the p**p is normal. As long as he isn't in any pain from filling his nappy and he is putting on weight okay then don't worry.
