Question:

Two questions about the youth movement in Nascar?

Which current Cup drivers do you think will leave Nascar in the next couple of years? ( as a driver )

Who are the young drivers that will move up or into cup racing to fill the void?

Please don't tell me there's not a youth movement. Nascar and most sponsors want to attract a younger audience!!

Thanks!

  1. I feel that there is a strong possibility that Jeff Gordon will retire in 2010 at the end of his contract. I also feel that Mark Martin will fully retire in a couple of years. THere will be a few others

The youth movement will mostly be concentrated on Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, Trevor Bayne, Jesus Hernandez, and a few others. I think that these drivers will be the future of the sport in the next 10 to 15 years, as NASCAR makes way for younger drivers.

  2. I think that Tony Stewart is on his way out. He may go into ownership but I think he is sick of dealing with everything and he's ready to go. He may start by driving for himself and then becoming full time owner.

I think that Joey Lagano is on his way up to fill the void. He is really good. Also Brad Keselowski is doing amazing this year in the Nationwide Series.
