  1. Hi 7.50 / mile is very good 3 times a week is good training I think you have the stamina so try concentrating a bit on, less distance faster then increase the distance, also little fast runs in your training for extra strength try increasing your cadence up slopes and holding your cadence on steeper hills

  2. that is not a bad time at all it could be better but its good also three is ok but it depends how long u run on those three days maybe u shud run a little more

  3. I'd love to answer this but I need more than the number 15:49 I need like an age =/ sorry

  4. That is exactly what I got!!!! and I run about 3-5 miles almost every day

  5. ok first off it matters on age im in 8th grade an can run 2 miles in 13:45 but i mean it matters ur age and yea 3-5 day a week is good but it matters on ur dedication i mean i run 5 cuz i strive to get btr. But on the other hand i dont hve to work jus go to skool.

  6. that depends. r u in high school?

im on high school track team and i know the girls and boys team run on avg 8miles a day. SOmetimes alot more, somtimes alot less. In my league, ithink avg time for girls is 12-13min for 2mile, but im not positive. and our team we have practices 6days/week in ALL weather conditions.

but thats only if u wanna do high school xc/track.

if ur doing this just for exercise and stay in shape for som other sport, then id says its very good training for conditioning. good luck

  7. no its a good time. but i think you could do better. if your in training i'd say 3 days is pretty good but i would reccomend like 5 days a week. you'll get a better time this way. eat healthy and you should do great!! good luck!

  8. Your time is good, you can do a little better if you are in shape, but do it gradually.

3 times in a week is pefect and what must of the trainers recommend, while some others ask for additional 2 days of sprints over an elyptical machine to generate a better speed the running days...(2 days rest weekend)

  9. It does depend on your age and what you are trying to achieve. The most important is what you are trying to acheive and that is likely to get fitter, healthier and faster. If you want to improve your time then consistant training is the key and for a novice runner you need to run at least every second day as a bear miniumum.

Some of the main training ideas are hard day/easy day. I have found that running the same distance and speed each day is not the best way to get fit - or at least you can get fitter faster. So have one run a week where you run faster than your normal running pace and could be running fast for 2 minutes then 2 minutes jog etc or more running as you feel with fast runs, slow runs and even some sprints of no set distance but just as you feel.

A structured program is always best if you want to aim to improve.

  10. i not so sure if it's good

but i had a friend who ran a mile under 6 min

i think ur running enough, but maybe 4

  11. your time is okay

    the training is find

  12. As long as you feel good about it and think you are at a healthy speed for your body, then that is a perfect time. I have a 6.30 minute mile, and it's pretty hard decreasing my time. Just push yourself..I realized I wasn't really doing my best, So I changed up workouts and started using different muscle groups; not just my legs for running. Hiking, surfing, kayaking..I combined those with my daily workout plan and started feeling results. And also running gets kinda boring after a while! ha

3 times a week is good, but if you are training and are in pretty good shape, I'd increase your running time by a bit and add another day. Eating also affects your workouts dramatically. Eating salty, fatty carbs in the same day as a run can slow you down. Making healthier food choices obviously makes your body work better and run faster. Sugar also makes you tired..So I'd avoid that before a workout. I have a sweet tooth(as much as I hate it=) ), so I save em for the days I don't run.

    Hope these helped a bit,

    have fun!! :)

  13. sounds like a pretty decent time for a non pro runner.

  14. I dun know about ur second question, but 4 ur first one, ya dats pretty good. i can only run one mile in 10m mins...

  15. NO not really a bad time for a not serious runner

but to get on varsity in highschool you have to run a 11 30
