I'm thinking of having the bridesmaids each carry 2 roses as their bouquets. Any neat ideas on how to decorate them? Any pics you can recommend?

Thanks :)

  1. Two roses would look beautiful tied with a silk or satin ribbon that complements your wedding colors.

  2. Ribbon to accent would be the first thought. I would also say wrap the two stems in a string of tiny pearls. Or, use the rhinestone cording to add some bling. You could have wired gems in with the two roses to add some shine as well. browse your local bookstore or library for a floral arrangement book to get some more ideas.

    Good luck!

  3. You can use ribbons and pick two colors that they like. And you could put on fake jewels on the ribbons.

  4. Hi.  I don't have a picture of a two rose bouquet, but I LOVE this one with three roses.

I am sure you could do the same with two.  (Note....click on the link...it's about 2/3

of the way down the page on the left and is titled, "pink roses to carry.")

  5. I think ribbon would be pretty. Visit a Michael's to see what stuff they have in the floral arranging section for little additive things to accent the flowers. The fern and baby's breath is traditional with roses, but I don't like them as much. I did like the gold wire to tie the stems together and make a swirly design to join the roses. It may not go well with your colors and theme though. I think visiting Michael's will give you a good idea of what you like. Feathers are pretty too!

  9. I, too, would recommend three roses.  I think that only two could look off.  In decorating it is always advised to work with groups of threes.  I think the same would go for the flowers.  Two would just look incomplete.

I like the first post.  You could do some nice ribbon and use some greens for filler.  I would stay clear of baby's breathe-too cliche.  You could use some wax flowers for a bit more interest.  When's the wedding?  If it's winter you could even incorporate some pine into the flowers for interest.
