Sort of related to fluid motion, I guess, I just need a perfect scientific answer to this question.

  1. this happens due to decrease in atmosphric pressue.

  2. When a boat moves forward, its belly pushed water down, this creates a low pressure of water at its front sides.  This is so true and proved by the bubbles and "white" water that appears when this compressed water resurfaces, thus air decompress and bubbles appear.

Well, this low pressure at the front sides pulls vicinity water to compensate pressure, and it pulls whatever is in that water.

That is constantly a risky operation in Panama Canal, for example, where large freighters need to move dangerously close to each other

  3. I suppose the rowing is pulling the water and the other boat towards it. Think about it and you'll see what I mean (I think!)

  4. This process is "Attraction" between objects.

  5. Well suppose the two boats are moving in same direction and parallel to each other. Divide the water into three areas.

    1) To the left of the first boat

    2)Between the two boats

    3)To right of second boat

Now the velocity of wind in area 1 and 2 is suppose v

Then suppose due to drag of the boats(as boats are moving they will try to push air near them in the direction in which they r moving) the velocity increases to v1 in the area 1 and 3.(assuming boats to be moving with same speed)

But in area 2 there will be combined effect of the two boats and in area 2 the velocity v2 of the air will be greater than v1

    v2>v1

As u might be knowing that the pressure is inversely proportional to velocity the pressure between the two boats will be lesser than the pressure in areas 1 and 2

Due to pressure difference the two boats will be pushed towards each other

  6. 1) the fat guys in the boats are being attracted by gravitational forces.

    2) boat 1 is cheating

    3) boat 2 is cheating

    4) both boats are cheating

    5) Chuck Norris wanted the boats to attract

    6) who knows

    7) ?

    8)

(9 umm no sorry i had the answer but i forgot it owww sorry!
