  1. I'm thinking the train would go anywhere from 65.7 to 78.6 MPH, but that's just my own little opinion.

  2. 30 and 40 kph

in a right triangle, which this would be, a^2 plus b^2 equals c^2

    150 squared = 22500

    30 x 3 (hours) = 90, squared is 8100

    40 x 3 = 120, squared is 14400

    8100 + 14400 = 22500

    done!

  3. It's a trick question.  Memphis is in the USA, and American railroads would stop running before they'd accept the use of the metric system.  Therefore the trains cannot exist.

  4. I don't know the rate but the first train will be in Effingham, Illinois and the second train will be in Little Rock
