Two-way battle amongst I See You and Angelito expected in Geosystems Handicap
A stiff competition amongst I See You and Angelito is expected in the Geosystems Handicap at Bath in England on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Both are extremely talented runners and will give a tough time to each other in the class-5 event, which is scheduled
to start at 15:50 GMT.
Only six entries have been attracted towards the 5 furlong 11 yard event, which has a cash prize of £2,264 for the winner. All of them are trained well and have the ability to fight for a victory.
However, looking at the current form of all the contestants, it seems that Angelito has got an edge over the others. He is quite young, but has got the energy and speed to do well in shorter distance events.
The three-year-old gelding has been rated as the favourite to succeed in the race at Bath, despite the fact that he has just appeared in three races in his career until now. He will enter the event with a starting price of 2 to 1 and the punters will have
an opportunity to win some easy money over him.
Although, the Ed McMahon’s trainee has won just one race in his career, yet he will be confident of a strong run today. His lone victory came at Bath, which means that he likes this track and apart from that, he has never dropped out of the top three. Sean
Levey will be the one partnering him for a second consecutive event.
On the other hand, I See You is an extremely competitive filly and she has also done well at Bath in the past. However, she has never won at this venue and will be looking forward to turn the tables this time around.
Overall, the three-year-old filly has participated in nine races, winning a couple of them whereas finished as a runner up on the same number of times. Moreover, she has also secured the third spot once, which shows that she has the ability to deliver positive
results with consistency.
In her most recent outing, the Peter Makin’s trainee finished second and will be looking to go one step ahead today under seasoned rider, Jimmy Fortune.
