Question:

Two weeks late, positive home pregnancy test, negative bloods

I am two weeks late for my period and two days ago got a positive on my home pregnancy test but my blood test has turned up negative. Does this mean that the home test was a false positive or is too early for it to show in the bloods? Any help would be great, thanks

  1. I'm researching the same thing...blood tests CAN be wrong!  There are two different types of blood tests...one that says you either are or are not pregnant, and another that measures the specific level of the hormone needed for pregnancy.  Although blood tests are more accurate, they are not 100% accurate.  It depends on many factors, including the lab in which it was taken.
