I contract my services out to a non profit company. I am a sub-contractor with them so I don't know if it is absolutely necessary to give 2 weeks notice?

  1. Of course it's not necessary to give two weeks notice if you are considered a temp or a contract employee, however if you like the people or the company, you will do your best to allow them time to replace you when you leave.

  2. No,  one week is enough

  3. If you want good references and maybe another shot at them in the future, give em two weeks, minimum.
