Question:

Ty Cobb Batting Titles.

Looking up Ty Cobb's batting titles he led the league in average 11 out of 13 years between 1907-1919.

In 1910 he lost to Napoleon Lajoie because the opposing team allowed Lajoie to get a bunch of bunt singles (he wasnt fast) on the last day of the year just to p**s off Cobb.

In 1916 he batted .371 (finishing second).

If he won those 2 titles he would have led the league 13 straight years.

Would that be considered the most dominating feat of all time??

Meaning he was the best hitter for 13 straight years.

He also finished 2nd in 1921 and 1922 when he batted .389 and .401

  1. " I don't care if he got no feet"

  2. He is the most dominating hitter even without titles for 13 straight years, but what freaks me out is he batted freaking 401 and still lost, I think they had better roids than now back then.

  3. The best hitter ever.
