I'm not sure how much my TY beanie baby collection is worth but i'm interested in getting rid of them ( like 3-4 large boxes full!) I want to get top dollar/what they are currently valued at. I heard that some people like a dealer/collector like to buy them at current value price. Anyone know how to contact one in the syracuse, NY area? Don't tell me to search on the internet b/c i already tried that!

  7. There is a great site on-line that has some of the values for the Beanies.  If you have the Original Nine; i.e., Pinchers #4026, he is going for around $2,800.00. Because the market is down it is hard to get the full value for him, but if you get on e-Bay, you should be able to sell them and get a pretty good price from those that can afford to take advantage of the offers at this time. This is a great page to start checking out information on the value of your beanies.  The original Nine will be listed here and they are all worth well over $1,000.00. Hope this helps.

  8. I had been trying to find someone to buy some of my rare Attic Collections. But, I have also tried to find someone in the NY area and have not been able to.  Sorry I couldn't be of any help to you.

  9. I have Hope Bear, Glory, Princess, Sammy Sousa, and several others that I would like to sell.  How much, ball park figure, would you say I could get for these Beanies?

  10. I have been researching both Beanie Baby's and the Attice Collectibles.  It depends on what items you have. A lot of them aren't selling for much, but if you have the rare retired Beanies; i.e., Princess Beanie, original issued, 1997, made in China, w/P.V.C or P.E. pellets, their value is up to around $120.00.  A lot of these are vary had to come by. Right now a lot of people are selling their Beanies and not really aware of what they have that are of value. Do find a dealer, put an add in the paper or go to Craigs list. Collectors are buying them up right now because so many people are selling so low.  Sort of like the Stock Market. I just bought a Beanie Princess, first issue, for .80 cents and am going to find a dealer and should be able to get $40. for her.  If you possibly have the Original Nine Beanie Baby's you have a gold mine.  If you have any of the Attic Collectibles (not Treasurers), you also have some valuable items. First check to find out the Value of what you have; there are plenty of online locations to find these, then contact a dealer and part with what you want to.  I am hanging onto some of my Princesses and the 1st generation Attics. The value of the will continue to rise.  But, like I said, it is the Retired ones that hold the best value.  I hope this helps.

  11. You can post an ad on craigslist.org for free.  I posted a few other toys on that site and had a collector contact me asking if I had any beanie babies that were over 10 yrs old. I have plenty. We are arranging a meeting to discuss a possible sale.  We shall see!
