Tye-dying question..?

What will happen if im tye dying and the box says to leave the dye on the fabric for 6-8 hours to soak and i only leave it on for 3 or 4? Does anyone know how it would turn out different?

It depends on the dye. In some the color fastness won't be good (but pretty unlikely), in general the color will be a lighter shade.

I do know that people will judge you as a poser hippie.  Esp if you use deodarant.

The color will not be as dark and will fade faster ;(((

The color will still dye but a lighter shade of it. The longer it stays, the deeper the hue will be, so taking it out early may leave you a type of "pastel" effect instead of brighter!
