Tylenol/Advil PM question...

Can I take tylenol PM or Advil PM while on doxycycline (acne medication) ?

Yes you can. Doxycycline is for a lot of other uses.

Well, the tylonal is acetominophin and advil is ibuprofin, and the pm in both is benedryal.

I did not see a warning in the med information for any of those.  You ought to get in the habbit of reading the info inserts that come with your medications.

look on the back of your acne medication and see what is says.  If it says do not take with acediminipehene then do not take the tylenal.  if it says do not take with ibprophen then do not take the advil.  if neither of these drugs are under the do not mix with instructions on your acne medication then you should be just fine.
