In the past half hour I took 3 tylenol pm's and 6 150 (i think) mg advil tablets... is that dangerous?

i'm 13 years old, 5'7, and around 170 pounds, if that gives anyone a better idea of how it'll affect my body.

  1. Tylenol contain paracetamol and heavy dose of it may cause liver failure.Advil contains Ibuprofen and excess dose may cause gastric disturbance.

  2. You'll probably get sleepy, may have anticholinergic effects like dry mouth, and are at some risk for stomach upset, but chances are, nothing major will happen. Might I mention that was a silly and immature thing to do?

  3. Dang, In the first place, why did you take Tylenol pm, unless it's night time where you live. The PM in Tylenol pm is a sleeping/calming drug. Second, if you actually look at the labels, the recommended dosages for both of these are 2 tablets. So why would you take 6 of them?

I'm not a physician or a pharmacist and so don't know what the toxic levels of these drugs are, nor what the specific harmful side effects are. You might just Google a bit to see what you can find.

  4. Well, all the benedryal in the tylonal pm is going to put you to sleep.

I dont understand why you would do that?

You might feel nauseated, you probably ought to eat something before you pass out.
