Tyler Hansbrough: Top ten games of the NBA regular season 2010-11 – Part 1
Indiana Pacers’ forward Tyler Hansbrough has been one of the few revelations this season. This was the season where the Hansbrough had an impressive 2010-11 regular NBA season with an average of 11.0 points along with 5.2 rebounds
per game. Usually coming off the bench, he played tremendously throughout the whole season and improved upon his career average of 10.2 points and 5.1 rebounds.
Tyler Hansbrough’s best ten performances are as under from the 2010-2011 season:
November 9, 2010 - Indiana Pacers vs. Denver Nuggets
Tyler Hansbrough erupted off the bench with 20 points along with nine rebounds in more than 29 minutes as the Indiana Pacers defeated the Denver Nuggets with a whooping 144-113 margin at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Tyler Hansbrough added six points in the second period and helped the Pacers to end the first half of the game with a massive lead of 59-49. He added only two more points in the third quarter, but became exploded in the final quarter
with 12 points as the Pacers recorded a terrific home win.
January 7, 2011 - Indiana Pacers vs. San Antonio Spurs
In a 90-87 home defeat against the league best San Antonio Spurs on January 7th, Tyler Hansbrough played tremendously by scoring team high 23 points along with 12 rebounds.
In the opening quarter Hansbrough contributed eight points propelling the Pacers to a 20-19 first quarter lead. However, the Spurs fought back and took a 48-47 lead at the end of the first half.
Hansbrough pounded 12 points in the third period as the Pacers’ again took control of the game at 75-64. But, they failed to maintain their lead in the final period and lost the game. Pacers did not can a single point in the final
minute of the game.
January 23, 2011 - Indiana Pacers vs. Denver Nuggets
Playing on the road, Tyler Hansbrough’s scored a game high 27 points along with ten rebounds. The Pacers however lost the game by 121-107 as Denver Nuggets displayed some offensive prowess of their own.
Tyler Hansbrough scored six points in the first half of the game, as the Nuggets roared on to a double digit lead. Hansbrough scored 15 points in the third quarter to cut off the lead but it was a too little too late as the Bronchos
rolled on for a 14-point win.
February 23, 2011 - Indiana Pacers vs. Detroit Pistons
In a nerve wrecking spectacle, Tyler Hansbrough played a marvelous game by scoring 21 team high points along with 12 rebounds, as the Indiana Pacers took over the Detroit Pistons by 102-101.
Hansbrough contributed six points in the opening quarter which helped the Pacers to 26-19 start in the first quarter. He kept his momentum and scored ten points in the second quarter which made the Pacers’ position strong at the
end of the first half by 51-43.
Tyler Hansbrough did not add any point in the third quarter, but in the final period he further added five more points which took the Pacers towards a win.
