Tyler Reks gets splashed by planet Funk’s Brodus Clay – Wrestling news
The Monday Night Raw Supershow again witnessed the proud presence of planet Funk’s ambassador, the Funkasaurus Brodus Clay.
After the intensive and hilarious match winning performance on Royal Rumble, Clay was ordered to take on Tyler Reks in January 30, 2012’s Raw show.
Brodus Clay who had been a monster like individual alongside Alberto Del Rio, had revamped himself and now comes in the ring with two beautiful ladies, a dancing ‘Somebody Call My Mama’ number and extremely flexible dance steps. Brodus last night in Scottrade
Center took on the Scottish Drew McIntyre and annihilated the young emerging lad who is nowadays kind of facing bad days.
Since his comeback in WWE, Clay has been thrown various times in the ring but not against a true, serious and challenging brawler. He has pinned Curt Hawkins, JTG, and other names of the same calibre. His opponent of Monday night Raw was also a young wrestler
who is trying to make his place in pro-wrestling and frankly was given a golden ticket for the first time in any one of the flagship shows of WWE.
Tyler Reks had been active in WWE but only in its NXT and Superstars shows. This was the first time that the 33-year-old Californian was on the apex WWE show. Reks entered in the ring and after that Clay made his funky entrance by dancing down the ramp,
with ladies on both sides; hilarious dancing moves making people laugh and eventually the huge flexible Clay entered the ring.
The bout started and did not show that much rigor and intensity since it was kind of a non-serious fight. Clay kept on throwing the sleek Tyler almost everywhere inside the squared ring with a ‘My Bad’ accompanying his every move.
Tyler threw all that he had in his body to the huge fleshy Clay but Brodus responded with nothing else but an expression saying, “hit me more is this what you’ve got in store.”
At one moment when Reks showed some rage and anger and started throwing open fists to the head on Brodus Clay, the Funk representative immediately countered by lofting Reks towards the rope and on his return in the middle of the ring Clay received the young
man with his signature move the Brodus splash. The referee counted one, two, and three and Reks was announced as the winner. Later on his Twitter page, Reks said, “Wooo got my ticket to planet funk tonight. What the funk happened?”
