The former Shakhtar Donetsk and Zenit St. Petersburg star claimed that he has yet to decide on his future, but said that he will listen to good offers from other clubs in the January transfer window. He further added that currently
he is contracted to Die Bayern and cannot contact other teams as he is still employed by them.
"I am a Bayern player at the moment. The transfer window is closed and I am not a free agent,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
"During the winter break I will have to think about it, consider all proposals and make a decision,” he mused.
"Of course, I am not happy with my situation at the moment," he finally concluded.
Tymoshchuk stated that he will consider his long-term future in the winter break and admitted that he is not satisfied with a bench role. The attacker joined Bayern in 2009 and is contracted until June 2013.
