If a type rating is added to a Commercial Certificate, will it automatically transfer to your ATP when obtained?

  1. Yup.  All type ratings are done to ATP standards, so it will transfer.  And, there are no currency requirements for type ratings.  They are good for as long as you have a certificate.


  2. Yes a type rating is for life. Currency in type is of course a different matter!

  3. Yes it will, if it is still current.
