Type of Drill bit?

Question

I am looking for the name of a drill bit I once had but now need to replace. It is a drill bit that is half drill bit, half screwdriver bit. You use one side to drill your pilot hole and then take out the bit, turn it around and use the screwdriver half to s***w your s***w in. Any ideas what this type of bit is called?

Home depot or lowes have them but don,t get a cheap one. They will strip out after the first use. They usually come in a tempting package of variety bits to entice you to  but they are no good. Get a known brand heavy duty bit and you will save in the long run, and at least craftsman parts are replaceable for life.

It is some novelty bit (not a really good drill bit - not a really good screwdriver bit) just something put together.  Check Sears.

Depends on the manufacturer. Craftsman calls theirs "Speed-Lok"
