In the English colonies of Plymouth and Virginia, what kind of democracy did they have out of the three - participatory, direct, or representative?

And you don't have to be positive on this. It can be opinion. This is kind of like a poll of opinions.

Direct - the citizens are directly involved in the decisions

Representative - The people elect leaders...like the United States and Australia

Participatory - The government lets the citizens help out, but in the end, the government will decide the outcome. Kind of like having polls, surveys, etc...

Thanks in advance!
