Types of Paint Brushes and Purpose?

Question

Hi, I have two different paint brushes. One seems to have been made of natural hair and the other out of synthetic . Does anyone know the different types of paint each is used for?

These paint brushes are not artist paint brushes by the way. They are for painting walls or staining. I have them leftover from a project I was working on but I don't think I used them as they were intended. Now I want to label them for future use.

Hi, your natural hair brushes are usually used  when using paints that can be cleaned up with hot soapy water and the synthetics are used for stains or paints that requires clean ups using mineral spirits or other cleaning agents.
