Types of Police Careers?

I was just wondering if anyone has any job ideas. i like the idea of becoming a patrol officer but i was wondering if there were any jobs like this that maybe pay a little more.

You can always try different depts in your area.  We have some smaller but very wealthy depts in my area,

Nope. The pay is usually not why we do it. You should however understand that most departments have a retirement plan, health benefits and other benefits to working in this field. It is not a field you will get rich in nor appreciated. It is however the best work I have ever done
