Types of dirtbikes?

i dont no the 1st thing about dirtbikes,but i like them iam like 5'6 13 years old what do i need to know?

Smaller brands....Husaberg, ATK, Husqvarna, Aprillia

all the brands make all sorts of bikes for all sorts of riding and riders. All offer motocross models, off road models, dual purpose models, and road models.

have your dad take you to a dealership and look around for a while.....

here are the basics: the major brands of dirtbikes are yamaha,honda,suzuki,kawasaki,and ktm.There are two different types of dirtbikes,two stroke and four stroke. If you get a two stroke you will have quick trottle response but not much lowend power.Four strokes have lots of power but arnt as quick as two strokes.I would recamend a four stoke for your first bike but its up to u. One of my bikes is a ttr225 which will fit your $budget, It will not send u on your back when you crack the throtle,but has plenty of power.they nickname it "the mule".The ttr also has a lower seat height than other bikes. The xr200 is also a great bike but is more expensive

all you need to know is SUZUKI they are the best
