Types of pollution in australia.?

Question

i'm just helping my lilttle brother do an assignment on Pollution. he has to talk about the types of Pollution in Australia. anyone know what typea of pollution are in australia, and how they are created (as such?).

also, anyone have any idea what thermal pollution is? he found something that says it's the degradation of water or something..but it sounds like it's got something to do with the ozone layer, which doesn't have much to do with water...?
