Thank you for clicking on this question because I may need a little help. I mean whoever signed up for this, obviously did.

So I got this pimple on my cheek and it's been there for quite a while. I don't mind it, but with school coming in about two days, (September 2nd) I really want it to go away. Of course, I'll get the usual, " Try toothpaste," or "Sleep early." I've tried the toothpaste and I think it made the pimple bigger and I've tried Clearasil Vanishing Cream (it's okay). But is there any methods that you've tried that helped your acne? I'll consider all of your answers.

  1. If you are willing to spend the money, you need to get a ZENO or a ZENO MINI. ZENO's are these small devices that heat up and kill the acne bacteria from your pimple or zit. It works great. I have one. The original ZENO costs around $130, ZENO MINI costs around $90, and then when you run out of replacement tips, they cost around $25, but for multiple tips. It works great if you are asking me. At first I thought it sounded kind off pricey, but after I started using it I knew I had made the right choice and that it was definitely worth the money. I hope this helps you.

  2. I would just leave it and continue cleansing.

You could also try taping a band-aid with alcohol on it.

But honestly, it's just a pimple. Use some concealer if it doesn't go away.

  3. I have tried toothpaste, and that usually works a little for me.  I also use antiseptic cream.  Lemon juice also works well, it has something in it that will help to dry out the zit.  I also find that my zits will NEVER go away until I clean them out properly.. in other words.. pop them.  If its plugged up really deeply try holding cotton wool over it with hot water, that will open up the pore.  Then gently squeeze until its clean, then put lemon juice on it and it should clear up pretty quickly

  4. you can buy this thing called: Eskinol Naturals: Lemon facial Cleanser. It makes your skin pimpl-free. I have one and it's good. And cheap, too! You can buy them at filipino stores. I forgot how much they cost. I think from a range of $2-4 dollars. But it works.

  5. After cleansing your face, use a small wash cloth rinsed in hot water and hold it over the pimple for at least 5 minutes, turning the cloth so the hottest moist area is always over the pimple. Remove the wash cloth and gently rub Witch Hazel on a clean cotton ball over the pimple. Do this at least 3 - 4 times a day. The warm moist heat will bring skin contaminants to the surface and the Witch Hazel is an excellent anti-microbial and is available at CVS or Walgreen's, etc. The pimple may "whitehead" but let the process draw the pus out as opposed to you popping it. After the pimple is clear and to smooth out the skin and remove redness use a 1% hydrocortisone cream over the area. A doctor may prescribe Desonide gel but it is about $200 a tube, hydrocorisone cream is about $5 and it is available over the counter.
