  1. I'm torn- I really want to win on Saturday night, but of course don't want injuries either.

But I do agree with adnie25... unless it's some extraordinary event, and injury that happens in the NAB cup is just as likely to happen in the real season, so you can't be too precious.

And Mark- what a lovely answer you've posted. If you're a Saints fan, let's not start the season with negativity. And if you're not a Saints fan? Then please shut up we don't want to hear your comments.

    Go saints.

  2. And your question is??

  3. I say this too often. What is the purpose of having this Mickey Mouse comp?

Couple of practise games and straight into the season proper. That would solve many issues with players being rested and or getting injured during pre season.. At least this way, it is all done during the season proper.

  4. The way i see it is, if we are going to have to wrap our players in cotton wool all pre season then why bother? If they cant play a couple of practice games without getting injured then I think something is wrong..

  5. does it matter? its already planned out

kosi will get injured about rd 6. out for season

gehrig is old and tired, and should have been banished from the game

milne is a obnoxious weed (quote courtesy of matthew hayden)

and reiwoldt will be the only half-decent player in the stkilda forward line

as a result, st.kilda will once again under-achieve and disappoint in 2008

st.kilda motto: "go for a different team. we suck then blame it on all our injuries that could have been avoided"

  6. Totally agree with you.  Well unless the Saints need the money on offer for taking out the NAB CUP  (Should be called the Nob Cup!!).  Look at Reiwoldt with his knee all iced up last week - It is just not worth the risk and I believe that Adelaide on their home turf will romp in anyway so yeah don't risk the good and the more vulnerable (like Kozinski - spelling??).  Let some of the second tier players have a run.  You lot need Paul Roos to come down to Melbourne and sort youse out!!!!!!!!   Good luck though.
