  1. Aberdeen is expensive.

You say house/apartment then say double bedroom. I wonder which you want.

It costs approx £500-600 a month for a small flat.

Try the university accommodation office they should have lists of flats to rent.

  2. you are looking at anything from £650 for a 1 bedroom (cheapest) to up to £2000 in the city centre my brother just rented one thinking the same as you but got a big shock. the further out of Aberdeen you go the cheaper it will be.Just keep going north of the city ie.BoD and the prices do come down a little, but remember if you go outside the city to take in to account travelling costs. Also try www.aspc.co.uk

  3. unfortunatly aberdeen is really expensive, its all that oil!

my friend lives up there and she is paying over £600 per month for a tiny 1 bed flat with her boyfriend.

you might be cheaper to go for a private flat share, oly problem with that is if you dont get on with the person.

    hope that helps

  4. Is this for a holiday or a long-term let?  Aberdeen is expensive for buying or renting. If its for a holiday look at Travelodge, Travel Inn, or (in summer) the University Halls of Residence for reasonably priced options.  Long term - you need to contact some agencies in Aberdeen.
