I am a new mom, and was just curious as to some of the routines, schedules, or daily activities that some other moms go through with their 1-2 year old toddlers. Also typical menus that the kids eat or snack throughout the day.

  3. Well, I've got three kids, all home for summer (two boys in school, daughter's 15 mos.) Our daily life is BORING now, and we eat a lot in between meals...not much to do actually!

During school time, Everyone's up around 6 a.m., boys out the door by 8 (two diff schools) and my daughter's off to shower, and watch Mommy clean the bathroom. Afterwards, she's dressed and plays a bit, then usually a nap around 9 or so. Boys are home by 12:30, so we all have lunch around one, then she and the younger boy take a nap. Everyone snacks on fruit in the afternoon, then she plays with me while her brothers take showers. After everyone's clean, dinner's around 7 or so, and we all hang out till bedtime around 8:30 or nine....

her favorite snacks are: cheesy puffs, glucose biscuits, apples, grapes, nuts, gelatin (not often!), peanut butter sandwiches, and ramen noodles!

  4. Every baby is different.  I have four children, my youngest is now 13 months.  She gets up between 7 and 7:30 am and takes a 1 1/2 hour nap in the late morning or early afternoon.  She goes to bed at 8:30 in the evening.  We don't do snacks.  Here are her meals for today:

    B: Chocolate Zucchini Bread, Banana

L: Leftover Pasta w/ Tomato Sauce & Cheese, Applesauce

D: Rice w/ Cheese, Peas, Pumpkin Cake (birthday dinner for our 3yo)

What's she'll eat tomorrow (I plan menus for the week):

B: Zucchini Bread w/ Peanut Butter, Juice

L: Sweet Potato Rolls, Cheese, Peas

D: Baked Potatoes w/ Butter and Yogurt (healthy sour cream alternative), Squash, Leftover Pumpkin Cake
