Typical spaghetti and meatball dinner calorie rate?

I am on a diet, but I'm going to my friends house for a dinner party and its spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. So what would the generic calorie rate, with calories to portion sizes please.

  2. 300-400. Depends on your serving.

  3. spaghetti and meatballs can be as much as 700 calories or more per serving.  Even worse: much of those calories (300 or more) can be from FAT.  And even worse than that, most people don't put a small single portion on a plate.  If you're on a diet, it's best to avoid it, or at least avoid the meatballs (and additions like cheese) and keep it down to a small portion.  Also, if there are alternatives there (like salad, etc) make those the "bulk" of your meal.
