Why do you think this is so? This question is coming from someone who is blind and who is not rude so this question can't certainly be anti-disability.

  1. NO idea sweety . However I can say my step sister is blind and treats people like c**p . She treats everyone like they owe her something and any act of kindness is responded to by yelling and obscenities .

I remember her asking her husband for a fork . he grabbed a fork for her to use . She felt it and went on a rant that it was a small fork and she is not a CHILD and it went on and on and on . Not being mean but I wish she was mute instead of  blind !

  2. I have not found this to be the case, but if I were to guess, it may have to do with a person with a visual impairment having difficulty picking up on someone else's body language or difficulty with conveying their own.

  3. I have seen both nice and mean people with disabilities.

There's a lady working at a grocery store as nice as she can be.

I also have a 13 yr old grandson who has rod cone dystrophy, he's considered 'almost' legally blind and is really nice.

But he has been really affected by kids in public school picking on him all the time.

He's in a blind school now and they don't pick on him, he's doing so much better and helps the kids there.
