if my opponent summons a tyrant dragon, and i use by order of the emperor on it, will by order of the emperor cancel its effect?

By order of the emperor cancels out tyrant dragon's effect. So can i use traps on tyrant dragon? or does his effect kick in first?

  1. No it does not work on tyrant dragon. Because tyrant dragons effect is not a trigger effect when it it normal summoned. Order of the emperor works on cards like monarchs and Stratos but not on tyrant because his effect doesn't happen when its "normal Summoned." Read order of the emperor again and see what I mean, plus even in the case to which it could be used, which it cant, its not a fast enough spell speed to effect tyrant. But that's not the issue. To sum it all up you cant do it because tyrants effect isn't activated once its normal summoned.

  2. tyrant dragon's affect states that he is uneffected and will destroy the trap that designates tyrant  so tyrant's effect kicks in first.
