  1. Some people choose to go with the psi that is printed on the tire because that is the best pressure for that specific tire and some choose to go with the manufactureres recommondations because that is the best pressure for the ride of the car. If you are one of the ones who prefers the manufacturers spec. then they can usually be found on the drivers side door jam sticker. I'm not really familiar with peugoet so it may be on a different door jamb. You can also look in the owners manual to find these specs. 30-35 p.s.i. is a good safe range if your not sure. GOOD LUCK!!!

  2. Once again, people are giving bad (and dangerous) advice.

THE PRESSURE ON THE SIDE OF THE TYRE IS THE MAXIMUM THAT THE TYRE WILL HOLD, NOT THE PRESSURE YOU SHOULD USE.

If you over inflate your tyres, the tread will bulge outwards, reducing the contact area with the road - this is NOT GOOD!

Most petrol stations have a chart next to the air line that gives the pressure for various cars - if in doubt, about 30 psi is a good starting point.

  3. Check on the door.

Note that being a wagon, the rear pressure is likely to have two pressures specified, a normal one and one quite a bit higher for when it is loaded.

Also, check with a tyre shop as you may be able to run your tyres at a higher pressure to improve fuel economy and wear at the expense of ride softness.
