  1. Yep, the tyre place will know whats wanted and get you sorted out. All it is is getting the suspension geometry back to its correct settings so that your tyres wear evenly and contact the road properly. You must have knocked the wheels a few times to put them out of alignment. Its a simple thing for the tyre place to do as they do it all the time

  2. the tyre place will understand about tracking ,i presume one of your tyres has uneven wear and needs replacing.this means that your steering is out of alingnment and will need to be adjusted. Its worth getting the garage or tyre department to check your track rod ends and check for play in wheel bearing or top and bottom ball joints as this can cause the wear, ask them to do this first before they carry out any adjustment. If they do a proper check they will also chech kpi (king pin alingment) and camber angle this will show up any misalingment in the suspension or chassis misalingment.Make sure after the work has been carried out that your steering wheel is correctly alinged when driving in a straight line if not take it back and have them do it again, this normally means someones been lazy and only adjusted the track rod on one side as opposed to adjusting both to compensate the misalingment.

  3. tracking is the angle of the front wheels..if the angle is to acute the sides of your tyre will wear before the rest of the tyre...

yes the tyre place will know what you mean...

  4. Yes, tracking is the position of the tyres relative to each other - just take it to a tyre fitter (independents are best, don't bother with dealers either) & just ask them to check the tracking.

    10 minutes whilst you wait.

  5. Tracking is the wheel alignment , if it's not correct it will wear your tyres out on the edges , the tyre firm will know what it means just ask them to check your tracking
