Tyrur Oscar aiming for a hat trick in the Betfred Gymcrack – Heat 4 at Kinsley
The Betfred Gymcrack – Heat 4 will be held at Kinsley over 462 metres on Sunday, 10th June. Competing for the £125 prize money are Coolruss Tom, Romeo You Decide, Slaneyside Benny, Glaise Giant, Valentia Tango and Tyrur Oscar.
One of the most promising entries for the race today is Tyrur Oscar, Hades Rocket’s two-year-old black son out of b***h, Tyrur Bridget.
He rolled into the new season on 2nd February and got drilled over 525 yards at Shelbourne Park. This distance he settled in 29.15 seconds. The training session did not help much as the two-year-old ended sixth in his seasonal debut. The Grade
A3 Find Us On Facebook A3 525 was won by the evening’s favourite, Milan Queen, who timed the track distance in 29.02 seconds.
His second try of the season was in the Grade A3 http://www.IGB.IE Shelbourne-Park A3 525 on 23rd February over 525 yards. The race was won by the evening’s favourite, Shortenmystory, who timed the track distance in 28.93
seconds as Tyrur Oscar finished fifth after racing for 29.13 seconds.
His first seasonal success surfaced on 18th May at Kinsley over 462 metres. He completed the trip in 28.17 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Lookoutforoscar, by just half a length.
His second in line win was on 26th May in a 462 metres race at Kinsley. He reached the other end of the wire in 28.15 seconds and took charge of the final 3 ¼ lengths. Concluding the race the closest to the winner was Snails Pace.
Winning the race will change the back to back wins in a hat trick. For ensuring that Tyrur Oscar achieves it, the trainer, P. Betts, drilled the two-year-old over 462 metres on 1st June at Kinsley.
Tyrur Oscar raced through the distance in 28.02 seconds. The last time when he was trained the things did not proceed as were expected because Tyrur Oscar failed miserably in his seasonal debut. This time however he is more experienced and has a more serious
accomplishment at risk.
How successfully will he manage his chance of striking a hat trick will become news soon.
