Tyrur Pudsy and Blue Bee joint favourites for Owlerton Bookmakers Super Stayers
Tyrur Pudsy and Blue Bee are all set to lock horns in the Owlerton Bookmakers Super Stayers at Sheffield in England on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. The winning greyhound will be awarded a cash prize of £200.
The stamina of all runners will be tested in the race, as they will have to cover an overall distance of 720 metres. The Grade OR event is scheduled to start at 19:20 GMT and six quality hounds will be seen in action.
Following are the names of the entries, which have been confirmed: Tyrur Pudsy, Blue Bee, Bubbly Capel, Rubio, Luke My Lad and Swift Leah.
It was a difficult call for the bookies to choose one favourite, thus they have given equally good odds to Tyrur Pudsy and Blue Bee. Both are in decent form and have the ability to fight for victories consistently.
The C. Lister’s trainee, Tyrur Pudsy, has got a very good stamina, thus she will be a force to reckon at Sheffield today. She has been performing well over the past few months and has won two out of her previous three events.
This means that the brindle b***h is in great rhythm right now and it will be hard for the others to stop her from winning. However, her most recent run did not turn out to be a very good one, as she ended up fourth in it. She will need a much better effort
compared to that in order to finish on top of the table at Sheffield.
Tyrur Pudsy is the daughter of Hades Rocket out of Danmar Pudsy and was born in February 2010.
On the other hand, Blue Bee is also a competitive runner and she likes the longer distance races. Her recent form is not much impressive, but the bettors might still risk some money in her favour.
The M. Dartnall’s trained b***h found some momentum in her most recent run, as she finished third overall. She is quite familiar with the conditions at Sheffield, thus has a very good chance of winning the race.
The blue b***h is the daughter of Hondo Black out of Blue Honey and was born in June 2008.
Although the real battle is expected to be amongst the top two favourites, Bubbly Capel and Rubio might also manage to fight for victory in the end.
