Tyrur Pudsy gets the best odds for the Betfred.com Maiden Stayers Trophy
Tyrur Pudsy has been given the best odds for the Betfred.com Maiden Stayers Trophy at Nottingham in England on Monday, March 12, 2012. The winning hound will bag a cash prize of £150.
The Grade OR event, which has an overall distance of 680 metres to cover, will start at 19:16 GMT. The runners, who have been attracted towards the flat race, are: Tyrur Pudsy, Jungleland, Jack Relax, Mill Goofy, Avondale Aphro and Oneco Spirit.
Although the bookmakers have shown confidence in Tyrur Pudsy, she is not in good form at the moment. She has managed to win just one race out of all her outings, which might discourage the punters from placing bets on her.
However, C. Lister’s trained hound showed some form in her most recent race at Nottingham on Monday, March 5, this year. She was not the favourite to win that event, but performed decently, despite being crowded at the start.
Despite that run, Tyrur Pudsy has to produce something out of the box today, as she will not find things easy in this class. The longer distance to cover might work in her favour, as she is not a good starter.
The brindle b***h is the daughter of Hades Rocket out of Danmar Pudsy and was born in February 2010. She is the youngest of all runners in today’s race.
Another hound expected to do well at Nottingham is, Jungleland. He will have a decent chance of winning the race, as his recent performances have been quite good. The punters will be interested in placing more bets on him. However, he might not find winning
easy in this class, as there are some fierce competitors taking part in the event.
A. Jenkins’ trainee has been taking part in some trial runs recently, but things will be different today, as there is a lot more intensity in a race compared to trial runs.
The second favourite hound is the son of Razldazl Billy out of Ballymac Floss and was born in September 2009.
Other than the top two favourites, Jack Relax might also manage to fight for race victory. However, he will have to be at his absolute best in order to do so. The rest of the participants will not find things easy today, as they are not in good rhythm.
