Tyrur Pudsy to do the damage in Betfred Super Stayers Trophy at Nottingham
Standing in the first trap, Tyrur Pudsy is all set to stamp her rivals in Betfred Super Stayers Trophy, scheduled to be held at Nottingham on Monday, January 28th.
There is nothing wrong with her current momentum, although victories are not coming to her way regularly. On her penultimate outing, she displayed a splendid performance, beating Ballymac Boy by half a length.
It was surely a great act. Despite plenty of mess, the dashing b***h didn’t lose her momentum, and ran well until the end. The success came a week after an embarrassing loss here.
After getting back to the winning ways, Charlie Lister’s charge was expected to do more damage, but she suddenly gave away everything. Her latest ride was not impressive at all. Lady Luck did not support her, as she got crowded at the third bend.
After suffering the mess, it was very difficult for her to aim for the first rank. She, however, was not disgraced, as she shared the podium. The draw is massively in her favour today.
She is likely to make a quick start, and stay ahead all the way through. The brindle daughter of Hades Rocket is not facing an easy opposition though. Among her opponents are:
Conkon, Hather Siobs, Savana Bert, Ballymac Boy, Salacres Sparky. The 730 metres contest is due to begin at 19:48 GMT. It carries a handy prize of 200 pounds.
Tyrur Pudsy, who stayed well and can deliver a winning run off the final bend, particularly needs to stay cautious of Conkon - the old-timer who has enjoyed many C&D wins. The fawn dawn is running consistently well, but needs an extra spark to shine from
the fourth box, the one he is currently trapped.
Ballymac Boy was outstayed by selection Jan 14th, and holds good early pace. Salacres Sparky finished behind Tyrur Pudsy last week, but holds the potential to give her tough time this time around.
Hather Siobs could be dangerous if poaching an early lead. Savana Bert is well drawn, and looks another who can turn it on at times. Good luck to all the contestants.
