Tyrur Skippy dominates proceedings in the Shelbourne A1 525
Tyrur Skippy stormed to victory in the Shelbourne A1 525 race at Shelbourne Park in Ireland on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. He was awarded with a cash prize of €450 in the end.
A total of seven runners lined up for the event and their names are as follows: Tyrur Skippy, Paradise Siesta, Blackhall Dee, Yankee Doody, Highview Echo, Aussie Vintage and Ballymoney Ashe.
The bookmakers had a lot of confidence in the abilities of Tyrur Skippy, thus he was awarded with the bets odds. He did not disappoint anyone and performed exceptionally well. He was in control of proceeding right from the start and did not allow anyone else to come closer.
Fahy’s trainee struggled to perform consistently since making debut, but he broke the shackles this time around. He is a quality runner and was awarded with a starting price of 6 to 4. The punters had full faith in his abilities, thus they would have earned some easy money with the outcome of the event.
The victory would have given enormous confidence to Tyrur Skippy, who will be looking for some consistency in the future. The black dog is the son of Brett Lee out of Tyrur Lisa and was born in August 2010.
Second place went to Paradise Siesta, trained by Buckley. She was unable to cause many problems for the race winner, as she finished runner up by three lengths. However, her performance was not bad by any means and would have boosted her confidence.
The white and black b***h was given pretty decent odds for this race, as her recent performances have been good. However, she will need to improve a lot more in order to fight for race victories consistently. She is the daughter of Head Bound out of Paradise Alanna and was born in September 2009.
Blackhall Dee finished in a distant third place, as she was unable to challenge the top two. He speed was not good at all, thus she had to settle for this position. However, she had to fight hard for her position, as there was immense pressure on her from the rest of the runners.
The race was simply dominated by Tyrur Skippy. There was some challenge from the second favourite, who ran out of gas in the end.
