Tyson Fury: Dereck Chisora will be beaten by Klitschkos and I will beat him then – Boxing news
The current English heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has underestimated the Del Boy, Dereck Chisora, who currently holds the British heavyweight championship belt, ahead of their ‘Big Brawl’ fight for the British heavyweight title.
Both unbeaten pugilists Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora will take on each other in the biggest fight of their careers thus far on July 23, 2011 at the Wembley Arena in London. Fury believes he will bulldoze the Zimbabwe-born British boxer, Chisora.
Fury, who has won all 14 of his fights including 10 by the way of a knockout, told the media he is confident of winning. Fury claimed he is taller, faster and more powerful than Chisora.
Fury also commented on the pre-fight talk that has been going on between him and Chisora. He stated he and Chisora both do not like each other therefore he just wants to talk in the ring now and not outside.
While speaking on his inclusion, he said, “I'm taller, stronger, faster and I punch harder. I should win ... unless I hang my chin out and let him hit me. There have been a few verbals between us. Let's be honest, we don't like each other - never have. I
want to put in a good performance and, obviously, I want to beat him.”
The IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO and Ring Magazine’s heavyweight champion of the world, Wladimir Klitschko, in the meanwhile is aiming for a bout against the winner of the Fury-Chisora match.
However, Fury has said he is not ready for Klitschkos right now, as he wants to get to the top in an old-fashioned way but he firmly believes Chisora is not going to survive against Klitschko.
“I don't rate Chisora at all, he said. Fair play to him because he's British and Commonwealth champion - but that's his level, he will not go past that. He would get beaten easily by a Klitschko and I'm also confident I will beat him on July 23,” said Fury.
