Tyson Fury: Dereck Chisora would have beaten any other heavyweight except Klitschkos – Boxing news
The current British and Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion of the world Tyson Fury reckons the Del Boy, Dereck Chisora has the potential to beat any other heavyweight champion of the world except the Ukrainian heavyweight champions Wladimir Klitschko and
Vitali Klitschko.
The 22-year-old from Manchester, Fury, recently secured a unanimous points’ victory over Dereck Chisora to claim the British and Commonwealth titles on July 23, 2011 at the Wembley Arena in London.
It was a cutthroat competition between both pugilists which went all 12 rounds and Fury believes Chisora was one of his toughest opponents so far.
Therefore, Fury claimed that Chisora would have beaten any other heavyweight champion in the world except the Klitschko brothers, who currently rule the heavyweight division.
The undefeated combatant Fury, who has won all of his 15 professional fights including 10 by the way of a knockout, also thinks he is one of the best heavyweight fighters in the world, as he stated Chisora is a very strong fighter but he was unlucky he came
across somebody like Tyson Fury.
“[Chisora] was a good worthy challenger and he was a good British champion, but it was just unfortunate he had to come against Tyson Fury the way that he did,” Fury said in an interview. “I do believe if it was any other British heavyweight or any other
heavyweight in the world bar the Klitschkos, he would have done a job on them because he's a strong tough man.”
In the end the 6 ft 9” giant, Tyson Fury, remarked although it was a unanimous points’ victory, it was not his best performance. He added those who think this was his best performance, are in shock.
While speaking on his inclusion, he said, “If you think that was a good performance [against Chisora], I'm telling you you're in for a massive shock, big time! I would rate that out of ten maybe a three or a four.”
