Tyson Fury says his bout with Neven Pajkic will be personal – Boxing news
The current British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has declared that his upcoming title defence against Canadian pugilist, Neven Pajkic, will be personal because he thinks Pajkic has said a lot about him in 2010.
The 23-year-old Irish-English boxer, Fury, who is set to meet Neven ‘No Surrender’ Pajkic on November 12, at Event City, Trafford Park in Manchester, England, told the media that he is very happy about getting a chance to fight in his native
city.
The undefeated boxer, who carries a perfect record after winning all of his 16 professional fights, with 11 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, insisted that he will be making his debut once again because Manchester is a very special
city for him.
“I was born and raised in Manchester and now to finally be given the opportunity to defend my Commonwealth title in this great city is very special to me. It will be like making my debut all over again as it will be my first time since turning
pro that I'm fighting in Manchester,” Fury said.
In the end Fury vowed that he will teach Pajkic a lesson, as he is furious of the statement Pajkic made last year.
"I'm now the number one heavyweight in the UK and I'm going up against the Canadian champion who has had a lot to say about me over the last year, so this fight is personal and I'm going to put on a real show and prove just how world class I
am."
The 34-year-old Pajkic has also never been defeated in the ring as of yet. He has all of his 16 professional fights thus far, with 5 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout. Therefore, the bout between these two boxers will certainly have
all the hallmarks of being an absolute classic. Let’s see if Fury can really shrug off the Canadian unbeaten prospect in the ring or not.
