I don't rubbish players who make mistakes because I made plenty myself when I played the game but did you see Godstack's poor effort in the the first quarter against Fremantle tonight?

He shirked the issue; pulled out of a contest; packed the shytes; showed a lack of guts...........or whatever term you may wish to use.

I have not seen such a blatant case of a player pulling out of a contest to avoid making contact (& possibly getting hurt!) in AFL football, as Goldstack displayed tonight.

As one of the commentators said at the time, he will have trouble holding his place in the team due to his behaviour. To make it worse Channel 7 kept repeating the incident.

I feel sorry when players make a blue & look silly - but I never feel sorry for squibs.

  1. he is fine he has been an outstanding tackler the last few weeks and has played well he wasnt trying last night like threst of them

  2. He's done well in other games, but last night was a forgettable one for him. The incident you mention was bad, and I can't count the amount of times he was tackled and pinned for holding the ball!

He is only young, and he has shown some skills in other games, but I wouldn't be surprised if they drop him this week. He'll return though.

  3. NO.

Sack him. Don't pick him again.

    It was embarrassing to watch.

What a piker he was last night. If he does it once

it must be in his make-up. He will do it again, for sure.
