  1. It would make money

it would be a sorry fight

    it should not be made

    i would not watch it

  2. That fight has FREE TV written all over it! That would be a good Saturday night prime time ABC match!

I wouldn't PAY a dime to see it, so unless it's on free then no way! Both guys are shot!!

  3. Well although we the boxing fans would not support this bout in its entirety the success could be measure prior on which promoter was promoting it,

If it was was of the top promoters, yes it would be a success as they can smell money, if none of the top promotors are involved it would be a flop and no profit in it,

If it went ahead it would still be recorded as a result, like Holmnes and Ali, a terrible fight that should never took place or been promoted but people still refer to it, sad really

  4. Of course it would make major money. for a couple of good reasons:

    1. fighters. being as how they are well past their prime and in need of fights that can draw money, both fighters would take as much as 2mil  a piece to do this. which is a lot cheaper than the 15 mil they both took 13 years ago.Even though they are wached up they are still names to watch regardless. think about it tyson hasn't been good since 91, but he has made how much money just because. and there first fight wasn't a bore.

    2. location. The fight can't happen in vegas due to tyson not getting a license anymore in that state but NY, NJ, Memphis would all flock to that fight and wold help with the sponsering of the match if need be.

    3. timing. with the heavyweights being as lackluster as they are, name another fight that would feature two former american heavyweight champs?

  5. It would certainly be interesting. Make sure to bring plenty of Arthritis meds and TUMS.

  6. Definitely not. It would be a financial disaster. Both fighters are way past their primes. Both fighters do not have their heads screwed on right. Both fighters would be fighting for the wrong reasons.

  7. Would it make money? SURE.

People don't watch Tyson because of his skill, they watch him because he is unpredictable.  Both of those names are commodoties in the sport, and as long as either of them fight there will always be a market for it.  ODLH is a prime example of a shot fighter who still draws a crowd.

That said, I would applaud any state athletic commission that would deny both fighters a boxing license due to diminished skills.

This is a fight that really should not happen.
