U-God develops his annual offseason plan for the Chicago White Sox – MLB News
The Chicago White Sox are pretty much in a rebuilding process where everybody wants to put their suggestions in order to make sure the White Sox as a team will play more offensive and come-up with good results next season.
The 2011 Major League Baseball season was awful for the White Sox as they could not play as expected. They lost too many games and disappointed their many loyal fans for not playing well in the whole season. This regular season’s poor performance hurt them
at the end of the season, as they were unable to make it into the post-season.
That is the main reason why so many people are criticising the White Sox GM Kenny Williams over his late decision of not hurrying for offseason trade that might land some other talented players into the franchise. His stance over not to rush for offseason
trades has now provoked a renowned US rapper and at the same time blogger at a famous sports website, U-God who is giving his own specialised sports analysis for the White Sox.
U-God has also criticised the White Sox GM for not trading players like Alex Rios, Adam Dunn and Jake Peavy. But at the same time he was right to say that the White Sox are still behind and still recovering from a phase that has stroked him hard financially
where these potential trades will further harm them financially.
Not only financially, the White Sox management is not coping properly with the late trading dangers. This might look little satirical or humorous as U-God does not know what baseball management actually is, but inside it is true and baseball experts understand
the very need of some good players in the White Sox franchise.
From a different perspective, despite these suggestions from a very different background holder, still Williams will certainly ponder over it and will try his best to improve in the next MLB season.
On the contrary to U-God’s expert analysis, many things will remain the same when the 2012 season starts. Appointing a new manager Robin Ventura and showing confidence in his players at the annual GM meeting in Milwaukee, Kenny Williams will still hold a
key position in the Chicago White Sox management for some more years.
