Hi

I am going to the U.S.A in 2 weeks I live in the U.K I want to take my digital camera and my psp with me. First question I've heard psp's are fine to use on a plane as long as wi-fi is turned off can someone verify?

Second question, I bought a plug converter today U.K to U.S.A do I need a voltage converter also. Does anyone know about the difeerent voltages?

Cheers

  1. I can answer this for you:

    - Yes, you must turn off the WiFi for your PSP while on the plane. They might also ask people to turn off all electronic devices during certain times like take-off and landings.

    - You do not need a voltage converter for the PSP; the adaptor can accept 100v-240v which will work in the US too if you already have the plug adaptor. The UK uses 220v, the US uses 115v (or thereabouts).

    - You need to check your digital camera power supply to see if it is also "multi-region" compatible; it will have a sticker on it to indicate the input voltages. If it only has 220v listed then you would need a voltage converter for it as well as the plug adaptor.
